Julio joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2023 and has been involved in various important projects since then. His responsibilities include the design and analysis of structures to withstand flood and seismic hazards induced by climate stresses, coding scripts for automated structural analysis and design, and supervision of project implementation. Julio's work includes conducting linear and nonlinear building performance analyses, including FEMA P58 and ASCE 41 seismic performance assessments, performing site inspections, and developing structural mitigation strategies to enhance structure's resilience. His professional interests are centered around the performance-based design of high-rise buildings and advanced analysis and design of structures.
